THEFT
Between Oct. 6 and 13, unknown actors entered Thomas Gorman's property in Malvern, Charlestown Township, taking an Echo weed whacker and Echo leaf blower. Anyone with information is asked to call the Embreeville station 484-340-3241.
MALVERN
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Oct. 21, police received a call regarding vandalism to a concrete retaining wall at Cephalon in Malvern. Those responsible for the vandalism fled the scene by unknown means. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact PSP-Embreeville and refer to incident number J03-1256358.
SOUTH COVENTRY
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
On Oct. 21, Pennsylvania State Police Embreeville Station investigated a report at Owen J. Roberts Middle School, where an unknown suspect keyed six windows and poured soap in the swimming pool. Those responsible for the vandalism fled the scene in an unknown direction. Anyone with further information please contact Embreeville police at 484-340-3241.
SKIPPACK
THEFT
Between Oct. 7 and 8, Donald Haring, 36, of Skippack Township, reported to police that his credit card had been compromised and utilized to make purchases in Greece.
TRAPPE
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY
Between Oct. 16 and 17, police responded to reports of attempted burglary at the home of John L. Rhoads, 43, in Trappe. During those dates, unknown actors attempted to enter the residence causing damage to the door jam and door knob.
TWO VEHICLE CRASH
On Oct. 20 at approximately 6:20 p.m., driver Maryann Kelly was traveling westbound on Main Street in Trappe. As Kelly attempted to make a right turn from Main Street into a private driveway, an unknown drover attempted to pass her to the right, striking Kelly and fleeing the scene westbound on Main Street. The vehicle was described as a red motorcycle driven by a male in his early to mid twenties. No further information was provided. Anyone with information regarding this collision is requested to contact the Pennsylvania State Police at 610-584-1250.
FOUND PROPERTY
On Oct. 24 at approximately 6:41 p.m., a large amount of tools were found in the roadway at Borough Line Road in Trappe. The tools were contained within a red Craftsman tool box, a white tool bucket, and a black tool bag. The tools likely escaped from the rear of an unknown moving vehicle. HARASSMENT
On Oct. 25 at 10:50 p.m. Michael Lambert of Trappe punched Donna Groff of Spring City in the face. Lambert was cited for harassment in District Court 38-1-20.
TWO VEHICLE CRASH
On Oct. 27 at 12:17 p.m. Richard Nelson was driving his 2007 Mack truck east on Main Street while Barbara Kersey was attempting to enter the roadway from a driveway and traveled into the path of Nelson. The front right corner of Nelson's vehicle struck the front and left side of Kersey's vehicle. Kersey was treated for injuries at teh scene by Trappe ambulance and was transported to Phoenixville Hospital for injuries.
LIMERICK
ONE VEHICLE CRASH
On Oct. 17 at approximately 8:30 a.m., Skippack police responded to a one vehicle crash on 422 in Limerick Township. Driver Leanne Marie Lash, 40, of Pottstown, was traveling east in the left lane when she struck a deer that entered the roadway. The vehicle sustained front end damage and was towed from the scene.
COLLEGEVILLE
DUI
On Oct. 17 at approximately 10:58 p.m., driver William Raymond Jennings, 75, of Collegeville, was pulled over for a vehicle code violation. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver was driving under the influence. Jennigs was arrested and transported to Skippack Police Department for tests.
EAST PIKELAND
The East Pikeland Township Police are investigating a burglary that occurred sometime between Sunday October 18, 2009 and Monday October 19, 2009 at the Schuylkill Valley Vending Company. Someone entered the business and removed about $1100.00 in change. Anyone with information about this burglary or seeing anyone with a large amount of change making purchases or cashing it in for paper money please contact the East Pikeland Township Police @ 610-935-0606.
TREDYFFRIN
THEFT FROM AUTO
On Oct. 23 at 6:59 a.m., police responded to a theft from vehicle on South Valley Rd. in Paoli. Four vehicles were observed to have passenger side windows broken. Several items were determined to have been stolen from vehicles including two CD players, garage door opener and loose change.
ROAD RAGE/FIGHT
On Oct. 23 at 6:19 p.m. police responded to a report of a fight taking place in the parking lot of the Gateway Shopping Center on E. Swedesford Rd. in Wayne. Apparently the incident began as a verbal road rage incident which escalated into a physical confrontation.
DISTURBING THE PEACE
On Oct. 24 at 1:21 a.m. police responded to a report of loud music coming from an apartment in the Home Properties of Devon complex. A 20 year old male from Hellertown received a citation for disturbing the peace.
UNDERAGE DRINKING
On Oct. 24 at 9:19 p.m. police responded to a report of a subject that had fallen and was bleeding from the head onthe 200 block of Irish Rd. in Berwyn. Upon arrival, the subject appeared to be intoxicated. Victim was transported to Hospital of University of Pennsylvania to be treated. A 17 year old male from Paoli and an 18 year old from Berwyn received citations for underage drinking.
INDECENT EXPOSURE
On Oct. 24 at 10:26 p.m. a 26 year old male from Pottstown was charged with indecent exposure after the victim contacted police about an incident at the Barnes and Noble bookstore on W. Swedesford Rd in Devon. Joseph Cash, 26, admitted to exposing himself to the victim inside the bookstore.
BURGLARY
On Oct. 25 at 9:01 a.m. police were dispatched to a burglar alarm on the 900 block of North Valley Rd. in Paoli. The door of the residence had apparently been forced open. Currently under investigation.
PUBLIC DRUNKENESS
On Oct. 25 at 1:19 a.m. police observed three individuals walking on North Valley Road in Paoli. One of the subjects approached the Bracken Ave. sign and began to push and pull on it apparently in an attempt to remove the sign from the ground. Police made contact with the subject and Timothy Hewitt, 27, was cited for public drunkeness.
THEFT
On Oct. 25 at 4:57 p.m. police received a report of theft of left side rocker panel from a vehicle.
THEFT FROM AUTO
On Oct. 26 at 9:06 a.m. police responded to a report of a vehicle break-in on the 100 block of Woodgate Lane in Paoli. Side front window was smashed. Pry mark was observed on window edge. Several items were missing from the vehicle including GPS, phone care charger and Sony MP3 player. Currently under investigation.

On Oct. 26 at 10:24 a.m. police received report of several items missing from a work garage on the 900 block of Cassatt Rd in Berwyn, including circular saws, air compressor and tools. Currently under investigation.

On oct. 26 at 6:09 p.m. police received report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. Someone keyed the trunk of a vehicle and the word "riot" was scraped into the trunk lid.

SUSPECTED DUI
On Oct. 18 at approximately 1:52 a.m., Richard Charles Utter, 69, of Philadelphia, was stopped by police for observed traffic violations. Upon contacting Utter, he exhibited signs of being under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody. Utter was transported to Phoenixville Hospital for blood tests. Charges pending upon receipt of blood results.
FROM Pa. STATE POLICE AT SKIPPACK
DUI AND DRUG POSSESSION
On Oct. 20 at approximately 9:37 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police arrested Christopher Diccanni, 19, of Harleysville, during a traffic stop at Routes 113 and 73. Diccianni was stopped for a traffic violation and discovered to be in possession of suspected heroin, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Charges pending.
DRUG POSSESSION
On Oct. 23 at approximately 10:30 a.m., Skippack police conducted a consent search of the vehicle of Dijon Johnson, 23, of Reading. Police discovered Johnson was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Johnson was taken into custody and charges were filed.
DUI (ALCOHOL)
On Oct. 25 at approximately 3:33 a.m., police stopped driver Linsey Mcculloch, 23, during a traffic stop. Mcculloch exhibited signs of being under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. She failed sobriety tests and was transported to Skippack Police Department where an evidentiary collection of breath was taken. Results confirmed that Mcculloch had operated a vehicle with a B.A.C. over the legal limit. Charges pending.

FRAUD
On Oct. 11, police collected a report from a Chester County victim who claimed that a fraudulent purchase was attempted to be made on his credit card for approximately $650. He also reported there was an attempt to open a Dell credit card using his identity to make a purchase of approximately $800. Investigation continues.
TWO VEHICLE CRASH On Oct. 17 at approximately 10:36 a.m., Marlin Kester, driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, lost control of his vehicle on Route 30, colliding with Cara Brady's 2004 GMC Envoy, causing damage to both vehicles. Brady was transported to Brandywine Hospital.
